The headlining in my XJS is in great condition except for a dirty patch right above the driver's head ! It seems that 12 years of motoring enjoyment have left their mark.
Can anyone suggest how to clean it without damaging the headlining ? I get the impression that scrubbing it vigorously with a stiff brush (and some sort of cleaning solvent) would probably wreck it.
thanks

I wouldn't want to scrub it roughly. Were you able to clean it yet? How did you do it?

if you get it wet, the fabric will start to separate from the foam layer, so you are just accelerating the drooping of the headliner. best to leave it alone or find a way to "dry clean" it.
