Jag XK outsmarts BMW

Buying a luxury roadster is by definition an irrational decision. So long as the car looks good and gives you a thrill with the top down, you're golden!
 
And that's why I agree with the conclusion that the 650i would lose out. You're not shopping for the Ultimate Driving Machine; why get a car whose styling you'll have to apologize for ten years from now? BMW will need to overhaul the 6 Series to pull people away from cars like the XK.

I like the Jag XK better, but each person has their own tastes. I think some people prefer the BMW.
