Touch Screen on X-Type

I am hoping someone could please give me a bit of information about the
Touch-screen display (with Sat` Nav`) on my 4 year old X-type SE.
After not having had any problems, from yesterday when I now start the
engine the display fails to come on at all. Other symptoms are that the
small LCD screen below the touch screen does not display time and
temperature properly. Also the fan runs constantly at about half speed.
If anyone can give me any useful tips, would be much appreciated.
