The XK isn't a muscle car. It is a GT car.

The USA Today article should know that the original Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Camaro were pony cars, not muscle cars (smaller and raced in the Trans-Am Series in which muscle cars would have been too heavy for road racing).

Its aluminum construction drops weight despite complying with new regulations and having more standard and optional features.
