2002 x type

I have a 2002 x type that the ext. temp is not right. When first started it is right but as you drive it goes up has anyone ever had this problem with thers thanks kirk

It will be the external temp sensor. Not sure where it is on an X but on an S it is just behind the number plate, behind the metal beam. The bottom is shaped like a cone which can just be seen when you look upwards.
