Does S-type R have soft brakes

I took my 2004 s-type R in for routine 20,000 service (Jaguar of Troy, MI). I am being told the brake pads are thin and need replacement. I thought pads should last much longer than 20k. Service rep told me that "the high performance Brembo brakes are excellent but soft." Is this typical duration for pads, or should I get another opinion?

Well it depends on your driving style..... how much they are charging you for brake pad changes? Don't forget if brake pads wear out, they may damage the disc rotors and then you will pay more for replacement...
