The Jaguar XKSS was basically a road-going D-Type which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1955, 1956, and 1957. Only 16 were built before the factory was destroyed and the moulds for the XKSS.

This 1957 Jaguar XKSS sold for $1,100,000 at the 2003 Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.
