No 1 thru 8 coil position 2001 SType V8 4.0

Can someone tell me the numbered coil position for the 2001 SType V8 4.0 engine.  My no. 7 coil malfuctioned, checked by dealer.  The service manager claims he was not sure which coil is number 7.  Please help.

I was a bit surprised that service manager can't tell the exact coil number. Was it a authorized Jag service shop?

For 4L engine, the coils are numbered

A-bank 1,2,3,4
B-bank 1,2,3,4

I assume he meant B-bank #3 coil but I am not sure

If you are sitting in the driver seat: the right hand bank is A, the left hand bank is B...
