spark plugs

hello all i have a 2002 s type 4.0 and it want to changed my own spark plugs . I know i has coils but i have changed spark plugs b4 in my other car. is this something hard to do ? is there something special i should need ,know or do ? is there a link that shows u how to do this ? any help would be appreciated.

I think changing spark plugs for V8 is rather easy. V6 is the problem because you need to remove intake manifold...

right, but what kind of spark plugs best to use? 2003 V6.

Hi there!

It really depends what do you want and how much do you plan on spending. Typical spark plugs round around $2, while iridium type of spark plugs go about $11 list price.

I used Denso Iridium when I first time swapped the spark plugs. The second swap was Double Platinum series (from Autoline). Both are perfect, while Double Platinum was 1/2 the price and I bought in Ebay, brand new of course, plus I got 8 in total - 2 for spare. I have a friend who used Denso Iridium and one spark plug had a crack after 500km of driving so I don't know if it was damaged while installed, however it doesn't show any physical damage. So I had to borrow my Autolite spare spark plug and it works fine
