R&R rear brakes 85 XJ-6

Good Morning and Happy New Year!!

I am somewhat inclined however I am told that in order to replace my rear brake rotors I need to drop the rear suspension. Is this very difficult or and a reasonably mechanically inclined person tackle this one?

Sorry, I do not have any experience with XJ's however, it sounds a bit strange that you need to remove / drop the rear suspension. Have you checked in a different service shop or just one? I hope someone else from our users has experience with XJs and can reply with more detailed information.
