"Jaguar claimed more than a dozen wins in 1977 and 1978 (including seven in a row in 78 ), the drivers' titles in 77 and 78 and the 78 manufacturer's crown [in the Trans-Am Series with the help of Group 44] before moving on to prototype racing and an eventual Le Mans 24 Hour assault."

Bob Tullius won his seventh consecutive race at the 1978 Trans-Am season finale in Mexico City and won his second straight Category I Drivers' Championship. Jaguar won the Manufacturers Championship with Tullius' victory.

1990 24 Hours of Le Mans. The # 3 Jaguar XJR-12 won it.







1984 24 Hours of Le Mans

Bob Tullius was one of the drivers of this Jaguar XJR-5.



Bob Tullius also drove this XJR-5 for the 1985 24 Hours of Le Mans

Jaguar XJR-12













This XJR-12 won its class (GTP) and finished 2nd overall in the 1992 24 Hours of Daytona.



It finished 4th in the 1992 12 Hours of Sebring.



Martin Brundle, Raul Boesel, and John Nielsen won the 1988 24 Hours of Daytona in an XJR-9.



Eddie Cheever, John Watson, and Johnny Dumfries finished 3rd.

Those are all really cool looking race cars. I didn't know Jaguar made so many cool race cars.
