I have 2001 Jaguar S-type 3.0.  The engine sputters at idle.  The car starts to jerk when driving between 45 and 55 miles, usually when accelerating.  Sometimes you can hear “clicking” sound coming from the passenger side.  My mechanic could not find any codes that relate to this problem.  He suggested that I take it to a Jaguar Dealer.
Any suggestions to the problem?

Probably you need to change ignition coils (the 3 are hard to access and require removing intake manifold...), install new inner boss seals, upper/lower intake gaskets.....    or lower elbow cracked...
