I just changed the heater control valve last week. It went out during the winter, started blowing hot on one side and cold on the other then finally went all cold. I have not driven the car much since the winter but now that i have changed the control valve the AC compressor will not come on. It worked fine last summer. I have jumped the compressor with a hot wire and it comes on but still blows hot air.
Any help?

FIRST OFF YOU NEED TO CK AND SEE IF THERE IS ANY FREON IN THE SYSTEM SOUNDS LIKE OVER THE WINTER THE FREON LEAKED OUT. THEY NORMALLY LEAK AT THE COMPRESSOR OR THE EVAP. THEN CK THE FUSE FOR THE AC COMPRESSOR LOCATED IN THE ENG COMPARTMENT IT SHOULD BE A 10 AMP FUSE THEY NORMALLY BLOW IF THERE IS A COMPRESSOR CLUTCH PROBLEM
