Can someone help!

I moved my car 10m, it was working perfectly now the engine turns over but wont fire, I have checked all the fuses, reprog the computer (Battery disconnect for 5mins reconnect oprate remote lock/unlock)
I have tried the inhibitor switch. As therwas no hint of a previous error I suspect I have tripped a security device. Is there something I should  check or just call the garage?

Maybe you should try and restart the car with the acc pedal flat on the floor which will clear the excess fuel from the engine. Then try and restart as normal. I suspect that the engine has been overfuelled when you stated you moved the car a short distance.

If that fails remove plugs, put some oil in cylinders and refit plugs and try again.

You do not say what age your car is but early V8's suffer from wear in the bores.

Re non starter -thanks for the suggestion-that was the answer (flooded engine ) and holding the pedal right down did the trick after a few seconds.
