When new S-Type hitting the road?

Does anyone know when the new S-Type is actually due to be launched?
I thought it was going to be 2007 (but not sure when in 2007)
But recently I've read it may not be until 2008. It is really going to be a long time for the new model. I am just waiting for the new S-Type to hit the road.
Jaguar really needs that car ASAP
