Mercon V transmission oil, WSS-M2C 202B standard

If your local dealer is charging you too much for Mercon V fluid or doesn’t have it in stock, we at JagPlanet suggest you to use a specific Lubegard automatic fluid supplement that enchances standard Dexron / Mercon ATF to Mercon V ATF oil. The list price for this supplement is usually around $10-$15 and you will save well over $50 ordering Mercon V from the local car shop.

Lubegard ATF M - V supplement meets all Mercon V strict requirements and can be used in automatic transmissions in late Ford models, Mazda, Lincoln, Mercury, Jaguar and other makes.

If you own a Jaguar and you require ATF oil that meets WSS-M2C 202B standard, consider the following:

- buy a good Dexron III / Mercon ATF, for example, Royal Purple ATF Dexron III / Mercon oil, around 9.5 quarts / 9 Liters (this is the required refill capacity for 5R55N transmission);

-buy Lubegard ATF oil supplement to meet Mercon V requirements.

If you do not wish to order Dexron III / Mercon ATF oil via Internet, you can go to local transmission shop with Lubegard supplement and ask them to replace your transmission oil. Mix it together with Lubegard supplement and you should be set! Follow the instructions and don’t forget to replace AT oil filter and AT oil pan gasket.
